About

A music visualizer that respects your machine.

Vinyl turns a track and its artwork into an audio-reactive, spinning-record video export-ready for every platform. It runs entirely on your desktop: no uploads, no cloud, no subscription.

What Vinyl is

Drop in an audio track and some artwork, tune how the disc reacts to the sound, and render a clean MP4 in whatever ratio you need, 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 1:1 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube, up to 4K. There's a live WebGL preview, an export queue for batching a release, and reusable templates so your next track looks consistent. It's built for musicians, DJs, producers and labels who want promo clips that look considered, without opening a full video editor.

Local-first, by design

Your audio and artwork never leave your computer. Vinyl renders and exports locally, there is no account to create and nothing is uploaded to a server. Even the optional diagnostics bundle contains system info only, never your media. If you can open the app, you can work offline.

One price, yours to keep

Vinyl is a one-time £49.99 purchase, no subscription, and licensed exports carry no watermark. The free trial is the full app with a small watermark and a short export cap, so you can test the export quality before you buy. Checkout and licensing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, and there's a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund.

Who makes it

Vinyl is built and maintained by an independent developer, a small, focused product rather than a venture-backed platform. That's why it's a desktop app you own outright instead of a monthly service. Questions or feedback are always welcome: get in touch.
